About Me
I am Dr. Priscilla Wong, a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner with a strong commitment to patient-centred care. Having graduated in 2019 from Queen’s University Belfast with an MbBchBao degree, I have completed two years of foundation training followed by three years of rigorous GP specialty training in the UK. I have been working as a GP in the UK since then until relocating to Dawesville Medical Centre in October 2025.
Clinical Expertise
Through rotations across primary and secondary care—including ENT, respiratory medicine, psychiatry, paediatrics, obstetrics & gynaecology, and orthopaedics—I have gained broad experience managing both acute and chronic conditions. I am skilled in mental health care, STI management, and supporting patients with multiple comorbidities and language barriers. I also carried out audits in diabetes and COPD, improving long-term care outcomes.
Professional Interests
I am particularly interested in developing expertise in dermatology, minor surgery, and medical education, complementing my commitment to continuous professional development. I actively attend courses and workshops to keep my practice evidence-based and up to date.
Languages & Communication
Fluent in English, Chinese, Cantonese, and Bahasa Melayu, I am able to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations. My approachable manner and clear communication style help patients feel informed, respected, and empowered in their care.
Hobbies & Personal Interests
Outside of medicine, I enjoy playing badminton and join park runs where I can engage with people.
