Amanda Bowyer
I was Born and raised in Dorset the south of the UK and trained as a college lecture. I am a proud mum to twin girls who are starting to explore the world.
Moved to Dawesville in 2013 and love life here. I decided to change my career and completed the Dual degree in nursing and midwifery through Edith Cowan. Since then, I have been based in the Maternity unit at a local hospital. I have experience in various areas of midwifery but have a passion for antenatal, postnatal, and breastfeeding support. As an lactation consultant I can support your breastfeeding journey also.
Continuity of care and a woman’s right of choice is at the very heart of my professional ethos and I value the strength of women’s individuality, and I strive to promote their health in their beliefs.
Outside of work I am family focused spending as much time as I can with my girls before they fly the nest. I love relaxing with a good book, a perfect cup of tea and my little dog!
